Google MAPS • Official Park Maps (PDF). Walking, hiking, and paddling sections and stories (blog posts) include one or both of these map types. Click on the underlined heading links in the SGI MAPS sections below to access a map or story.

Google Maps. SGI OUTSIDE created these maps from Garmin-generated GPX data collected with a Garmin Forerunner 55 GPS wristwatch. Google Maps allows the designer to add points-of-interest icons, but doesn’t permit corrections to misplaced and mislabelled icons by other map designers, so beware.

Official Park Maps and Car Stop Maps (PDF DOWNLOADS). These are sourced from the websites of Canadian regional, provincial, and federal governments or not-for-profit organizations. They are presented as accurate by their creators.

AllTrails and Relive 3D maps are used occasionally. They are also produced from Garmin Forerunner 55-compiled data. SGI OUTSIDE has included some of this format because they are another resource in your SGI-planning arsenal. AllTrails’ Plus and Peak subscriptions, and Relive 3D, permit you to preview elevation changes in 3D.
